Green's Aquatic Services was established in spring 2008. From an early age Daniel Green, the proprietor, has had a strong interest in all things aquatic. Having been a keen fish keeper for most of his life, he has gained much experience in keeping, breeding and showing a wide range of ornamental fish species.
At the age of eighteen he moved from his home town of Bolton, Greater Manchester to Winchester, Hampshire, to study for a BSc (Hons) degree in Aquaculture and Fishery Management, at Sparsholt Agricultural College.
Having graduated in September 2004 he was then employed as fry unit manager for Test Valley Trout, one of southern England's largest Rainbow Trout farms.
He later moved back to northern England were he worked in the ornamental fish industry for several years, being employed by aquatics companies, including; Maidenhead Aquatics, Cascade Water Gardens and Britain's Aquatic Superstore (B.A.S.). It was whilst working for B.A.S. that Green's Aquatic Services was established.
More recently Daniel has gained additional qualifications in the way of advanced diplomas in the subjects of Water Quality, Filtration, Fish Biology and Fish Health.
Green's Aquatic Services is fully insured for both public and products liability. We are also a member of the Ornamental Aquatic Trade Association (OATA) and work to the letter and spirit of its code of conduct.
